Health & Safety Maintenance Project:
Our client has to regularly access cooling towers for cleaning, maintenance and inspection. Previously this was done by erecting scaffolds which took time, cost and the increased risk of multiple scaffold erections.
We constructed access platforms around all cooling towers that allowed full access to required areas and reduced risk.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Our client had pipe bridge that required change of use to a common access walkway for maintenance. As a result the handrails fitted didn’t comply and we were engaged to install the required rails and modify existing.
End result was a cost effective solution meeting requirements and timescales of end user.
An increase in traffic below an overhead walkway meant that impact protection was required for the structure.
We designed, sourced and installed the impact protection to comply with requirements and quality.
Apron Wash Stations and Fluid Containment:
To increase efficiency the client wanted to change from sinks to apron washes with built in knife sterilisers placed for ergonomic action.
To further increase efficiency it was deemed necessary to capture fluids and divert directly to drain reducing cleaning time and improving visual impact of area.
A complete apron wash was designed with 22 manufactured and installed around existing production demands.
A trough system to catch any fluids from “the pluck” was manufactured and installed successfully.
Animal Containment Pens (Lairage) Upgrade:
The current side panels in the pens were galvanised and badly corroded. It was deemed more cost effective to install stainless steel panels preventing future corrosion and reducing lifetime costs.
The panels were manufactured in 316l stainless steel to cope with the harsh environment and installed around existing access requirements with finished results signed off by Vets and client.
